This year, you have the chance to vote for real change in Milton Keynes.
Our roads are in a mess. Homelessness has risen. All the while, council cash reserves have grown. It’s time to do things differently.
The choice on 3rd May is between an ambitious and achievable Conservative plan for the future, or more of the same under a Labour Council that has run out of ideas and is being propped up by the Lib Dems.
We know people lack trust in politicians. We know people just want things to be done. My personal pledge to you is that we will be the party that delivers. We will:
■ fix an extra 8,000 potholes in 6 months;
■ invest £2 million more into supporting rough sleepers;
■ keep our streets clean and tackle graffiti;
■ support communities to fight unwanted and inappropriate developments;
■ make sure you always get value for money.
I live in Milton Keynes, I drive over the potholes on our roads, I see the growing number of people sleeping rough, I see our environment becoming littered and overgrown. I am frustrated with the constant fight to protect our precious green spaces and I am angry about our council tax being wasted on Labour’s unnecessary projects, such as the £10 million council office refurbishment.
It is time for change—but change can only happen if you vote for it.
Vote for your local Conservative Candidate on 3rd May and together we can deliver a better future for Milton Keynes.
