Tattenhoe Conservative Councillors James Lancaster and Manish Verma have donated £750 to support the local Tattenhoe Youth football club in purchasing new goals for games at the Priory Park Pavilion.
Cllr James Lancaster, himself a keen sportsman, said that it is “vital that after the pandemic, we get our young people back into sports and having fun with their friends. We hope that our donation will go a long way to ensuring they can keep playing football in Tattenhoe and we can keep supporting our community.”
Cllr Manish Verma added that it is “great to see money going towards community projects that enrich our young peoples lives. Sports is an incredible way to keep them active and engaged and I am glad that we could be of service to our local sports club.”
