Candidate Profile - Jenny RICHARDS (Tattenhoe)

Jenny Richards is the Conservative candidate for Tattenhoe in the 3 May 2018 Milton Keynes Local Election.

"For the last ten years I have lived in Westcroft with my husband, two teenage children and two dogs.

Before that I was in Shenley Brook End for six years.  I have lived in Milton Keynes most of my life and am passionate about our city.  I worked in finance before having a family and then set up a successful local landscaping business with my husband, so I have a strong finance background, good understanding of budgeting and working with people.

As a young person, I was always involved with the local community, and as a mother I have continued this, largely through the children and their varied activities.  In 2016 I narrowly missed being elected as a Conservative ward Councillor for Shenley Brook End, however, my ongoing passion to make Milton Keynes a better place to live and work informed my decision to contest this election.

If elected, my priority will be to ensure local residents have a voice in how our local area develops. I will work hard to ensure we have the right level of infrastructure to support our residents and local businesses. As a Councillor, I will listen to residents and make sure their views are heard."
